CASUARINA (BRASIL)
Celebrating their 15th anniversary in 2016, Casuarina is one of the most respected samba bands of Brazil. Originally from Rio de Janeiro's famous bohemian neighborhood Lapa, the band plays their repertoire all over the nation and beyond. They've brought their 'samba made in Brazil' to more than 20 countries in Europe, North America and Asia. In 2016, Casuarina released his first US album and were one of the artists touring for the globalFEST - Creole Carnival through more then 35 concerts in US and Canada.
Back to Europe on summer 2017, the 5 founders of the group present on stage the best songs from their 7 albums already recorded and greatest sambas from others composers.
